Funini Panini

That’s how I like to describe myself. On the surface I might just look like an ordinary student, but inside I’m made of many layers—like a panini packed with surprises.

 

I’m a skier who feels the thrill of the slopes and worries about how climate change is closing ski resorts. Skiing is more than a sport for me—it’s where I learned how closely my passions are tied to the health of our planet. I’m an advocate who writes and speaks to share ideas. Every article or speech I create feels like a small way to give voice to problems that can’t stay silent. I’m a performer with my voice and cello. On stage, I’ve found that music and expression can reach people in ways words alone sometimes can’t. I’m an innovator exploring science and computer projects. Whether it’s coding, experimenting, or imagining new tools, I love finding creative ways to solve challenges. And I’m a connector who enjoys volunteering and bringing people together. Helping others reminds me that none of these layers mean much unless they can make someone else’s life brighter.

 

But another big layer of me is laughter. I love taking funny photos, making silly faces, and cracking jokes that get my friends smiling. Humor is like the melted cheese that keeps all my layers together—it makes everything warmer and easier to share. I want people to see not just the activity, but the joy, energy, and connection that come with it. That’s the story inside my funini panini.
