As an athlete, I know that sports aren’t just about people—they’re also about the world we play in. That’s why I started a project called “From Athletes to Ecosystems: Environmental Risks of Sports Drugs.”I wanted to understand how the choices athletes make can affect the environment, and how protecting nature is also protecting the sports we love. Doing experiments feels a lot like skiing: sometimes tough, sometimes exciting, but always leading to new discoveries.

Computers give me another way to explore these ideas and share them with others. I’ve been designing ski games so that anyone can experience the slopes, even if they’ve never seen snow. I also take part in coding competitions like USACO, where solving problems feels like racing through a challenging course. Technology inspires me because it connects creativity, problem-solving, and passion—and for me, that means using code and science together to tell stories, raise awareness, and keep building new paths forward.
